How it all began
Their story began on June 5, 2023.
Sky and Chaz spent that first day with friends in historic downtown Riverside, and somehow ended up a little deeper inside the Mission Inn than they were probably supposed to be. That one day turned into a whole summer together.
Then Chaz moved to Minnesota, and they found out distance couldn’t change how they felt.
On November 1, 2023, Chaz came home to California and brought Sky back to the Mission Inn. Up on the roof, in a little igloo they’ve called the “Chigloo” ever since, he asked her to be his girlfriend. From day one, they knew where they hoped this was headed and wanted God at the center of it, and He has been faithful every step of the way.
On November 1, 2026, three years to the day after they first said yes to each other, they’ll say yes again, this time for life.
